1/2 cup par boiled rice.
1/2 cup raw rice.

Urud Vadai

1 cup urud dal
3 green chillies
1 tsp black peppers

Appam

Ingredients
par boiled rice - 200g, urud dal - 2tsp, fenugreek seeds - 1/4 tsp(this is to make it soft), salt - 1/4 tsp, coconut milk or tender coconut water - 1 cup, baking soda - 1/4 tsp.

Ingredients
2 cup rice

Ingredients
Rice flour 1 cup, Milk about ½ cup(as required for mixing), Salt As per taste, Grated coconut 1 cup.

Coconut Chutney

Ingredients
Grated coconut - 1 cup, green chillies - 2, salt - 1/4 tsp, asafoetida - a pinch.

Kari Masala Powder

Ingredients
Coriander seeds - 1 cup, Gram Dal - 1 cup, Cumin seeds - 1/2 cup, Urud Dal - 1/2 tsp, fenugreek seeds - 1/4 tsp, whole red peppers-10
asafoetida - 1/4 tsp (add last).
