The Small Industries Service Institute (SISI)
acts as a field office of the Small Industries
Development Organisation (SIDO), under the aegis
of the Ministry of Small Scale Industries, Government
of India.
SIDO acts as a policy formulating, coordinating
and monitoring agency for the development of
Small Scale Industries at the National level.
Under the guidelines of SIDO, SISI provides
